OUR STORY
"In 2016 we opened POKITO –
Toronto’s original Hawaiian poke spot."
Toronto is blessed with the most diverse food scene in the world. But in 2015, nobody knew what poke was. We fell in love with eating poke bowls on the beaches of Hawaii, and we were inspired to bring this Hawaiian-staple back home. It’s the perfect combination of fresh, healthy, and delicious – exactly what our city needed.
THE ULTIMATE DESTINATION FOR THOSE SEEKING AN UNFORGETTABLE TASTE OF HAWAII IN THE HEART OF TORONTO.
OUR CORE VALUES
How is Pokito different? We’re authentic. We do poke the Hawaiian way – big chunks of marinated fresh ahi on top of furikake rice, served with your choice of homemade sides. This ain’t the place to build your own poke salad bowl, bruh. This is POKITO!
Authenticity
Menu Diversity
Although our menu is primarily Hawaiian, we simultaneously pay respect to the diversity of Toronto by thoughtfully featuring other authentic flavours from around the world, such as chimichurri steak (Argentina), ceviche (Peru), kimchi (Korea), and pineapple chow (Trinidad).
It’s not fusion… we call it authentic diversity.
Our Ohana
At POKITO, we treat everyone like family. Our staff, our customers, and our pets. We truly care about the growth and well-being of our team, and we want all of our guests to feel most-welcomed.
“Ohana means family. And family means nobody gets left behind…or forgotten”
